Thoughts and Theories on: reincarnation/after life

For a long time I have been interested in thinking about death. The huge step towards something more, and it is interesting to think about. It is somewhat sad that so many look at death as a terrifying thing. I have a word document where I type my thoughts whenever I feel like writing them down, here is one about after life:

The day we are born (in some instances) is a process we go through many times. There are beliefs of past lives, which I strongly believe in. The main interesting thought on that subject is, what were we? Could that have any significance to what we are today? The want some have, of knowing what they were causes great grief. They search and search in many different ways, but probably will never know. If this reincarnation really does define what we become, does it really question the belief of god? How could we appear in heaven or hell when we would just become another creature? In almost all instances, we do not know what we were, and have no way of finding out how, unless you take a chance on the near and far psychic mind. It is strange to think of the consequences of the after affect of life in this way of existing. We work so hard to define who we are. We feel pain and sacrifice so much, or so little for others. Then when the day comes when we die, all this is forgotten: the love, family, success, the pain, the happiness, only to relive it once again in another body with new characters we will know for either a large amount of time, or never know at all. What happens if the cycle finally stops? The theory of the end of the world, what would become of us when we die? There the thought of after- life comes into play. If the history contained in books on life repeats itself once the cycle ends on one planet, does that mean we will start again? Then if that is what happens, the history of reincarnation makes sense. We forget everything and have to rely on our present day mind to begin again. These will be ongoing thoughts until it is over, but won’t they just come into play again? There is one thing about this topic that you always need to keep in mind, what if. This could not exist and the views expressed by others do not ultimately mean the answer, past experiences prove this.
In this point of view, death is interesting. Why put so much effort and triumph in life if it will all be forgotten? We are all afraid of death in some way or another. Even if you prove to yourself that you can see that death is just another phase, you still fear it a tiny bit that sticks out. Our fear of death has formed because of what society has let it become, pain. In reality death is an escape, and if you believe in reincarnation it is just the entrance into another phase. But even so this “phase,” is an escape from one’s past, society, which is slowly becoming reality, has pressed their stamp of truth on our minds. We will feel pain. To escape and be free, we need to go through something terrible and excruciating event to go through the exit door. Let’s call this idea that many people have turned their beliefs onto, deaths performance. In instances this is the truth. But not every human dies in some tragic accident. Now that death’s performance has become a thought of painful fatality we fear death. We want to live as long as we can. So in this thought we go through procedures and mixtures and money to keep us healthy instead of escaping. We all die someday and we cannot hide from it, but I also believe you cannot live in worry, but live in the know. Someday you will be gone and even if your memory disappears why not have a good time. (More on this subject later)
